On behalf of the faculty and staff, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Athens Middle School. Please know that we will do our very best to make the school year a productive one for parents, students, staff, and others associated with our school. 

To accomplish our mission it is vital that all components of the educational process work in a unified manner. As the principal, I will work hard to ensure that all Athens Middle School stakeholders work together to provide a quality institution for learning. The Athens City Schools Student-Parent Handbook is the administration’s first step toward unifying parents, students, and staff. This handbook contains information that is important to the operation of our school. It should be read thoroughly by parents and students, and then kept for future reference.  Throughout this school year, parents and students should be mindful that AMS staff and I are available whenever there is a need for us.  Please do not hesitate to call!
